Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across AIM Media
Houses international events and digital media offerings. The role combines direct sales
responsibility with team leadership: you will personally close high-value sponsorship deals while
also coaching, managing, and enabling a team of sales representatives to achieve their targets.
This is a strategic role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, strong consultative sales skills, and
experience in managing sponsorship/partnership sales for B2B events or media.
Key Responsibilities
? Sales Leadership & Deal Closures
? Drive sponsorship sales for AIM Media Houses international events and digital
media platforms.
? Lead from the front by closing key deals directly with senior decision-makers
(CMOs, CROs, Field Marketing Heads, etc.).
? Build and manage a pipeline of global prospects, ensuring consistent revenue
growth.
? Team Management & Enablement
? Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed
individual and team targets.
? Support sales reps in deal strategy, pitch preparation, and negotiation.
? Foster a high-performance culture with accountability, coaching, and recognition.
? Client Relationship Management
? Ensure an excellent client experience pre-, during, and post-event.
? Maintain a consultative sales approach to understand client GTM priorities and
align solutions accordingly.
Desired Skills & Experience
? 812 years of experience in sponsorship sales for events and conferences
? Proven track record of closing high-value deals with senior executives.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
? Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented
environment.
