Business Development Manager Commercial Location: Bangalore | Experience: 5–7 Years Full-Time We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager (Commercial) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to build lasting relationships, identify market opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Roles & Responsibilities Market Research & Analysis Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging market trends and business opportunities. Analyze competitor strategies and provide actionable insights to maintain a competitive edge. Lead Generation & Sales Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, digital channels, and industry events. Build and nurture strong client relationships to maximize customer lifetime value. Develop persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client needs. Strategic Planning Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals. Set, track, and achieve sales targets through effective planning and execution. Partnerships & Alliances Identify and secure strategic partnerships to expand business reach. Negotiate contracts and manage long-term partner/client relationships. Marketing & Promotion Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns and brand visibility. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Reporting & Analysis Track and report on sales performance and business development KPIs. Analyze data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular feedback to senior management on market trends and sales strategies. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Achievement of revenue and growth targets Effective lead generation and conversion Expansion into new markets and client segments Strategic partnerships and long-term collaborations Client satisfaction and retention Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) % of sales targets achieved Number of new leads generated and successfully converted Market share growth within the commercial segment Number of new partnerships or strategic collaborations Customer satisfaction and feedback scores Deliverables Monthly and quarterly business development reports Market research and analysis documents Sales forecasts and performance dashboards Client proposals, contracts, and onboarding reports Campaign performance and feedback summaries Required Skills & Competencies Strong business acumen with strategic sales planning skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to generate leads and close high-value deals Strong negotiation and contract management expertise Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) 5–7 years of experience in business development or B2B sales Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving sustainable growth If Interested for this role, Please share your resume on hr@alankaram.in
