Location: Bangalore (onsite) Experience- 3-5 years About Us: Launched in June 2020, branchX is India's first neo-banking solution, enabling empathetic banking for migrant communities. Our vision is to transform the way underbanked communities manage money with a hand-holding grid aided by intelligent technologies. Headquartered in Navi-Mumbai, we are a 100+ member impact-driven team with offices in Noida, Bangalore, Kochi, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata and other locations. Role Overview As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, onboarding strategic clients or brands, and driving revenue growth. Youll be expected to take complete ownership of lead generation, client pitching, and deal closure, contributing directly to the companys topline. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify high-potential leads across relevant categories (D2C brands, retail, software clients, etc.) Use platforms like LinkedIn, Apollo, and CRM tools to build lead lists and pipelines. Client Acquisition Pitch products or services (Hyprcom marketplace or software development solutions) to decision-makers. Create and present tailored proposals to convert leads into clients. Partnership Management Build strong relationships with onboarded clients for long-term growth. Collaborate with internal teams (tech, marketing, ops) to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery. Revenue and Sales Ownership Own and manage sales targets (monthly/quarterly). Maintain a healthy pipeline and regularly update performance dashboards. Market Research & Insights Stay updated with trends in ecommerce, B2B tech, and industry-specific opportunities. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on client conversations. Requirements 2 - 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in ecommerce, SaaS, or digital services). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. Familiarity with CRMs, lead generation tools, and digital outreach strategies. Nice to Have Experience in startup environments or marketplaces Understanding of ecommerce platforms, D2C space, or tech service sales Strategic thinking and ability to structure long-term deals Core Value Empathy as a term has become a buzzword.
