Business Development Manager

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for business expansion to support the customer sales strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining business relationships with defined accounts in a specific product line, with the aim of achieving strategic and financial objectives. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for brand products, technology solutions, and offerings for assigned customers, you will be responsible for executing strategic customer growth plans and fostering business relationships by providing value-added solutions. Your role will involve identifying and creating demand for products, organizing seminars and training sessions for customers, and analyzing program impact to drive the success of growth plans. It will be crucial for you to stay updated on product trends, competitors, technology, and customer preferences in the designated supplier product market. You will also be responsible for identifying and nurturing field supplier relationships. Additionally, you may be required to carry out various other duties as assigned. In terms of job level specifications, you are expected to have a general understanding of business, financials, products/services, and the market. You will work within an assigned territory, account, or sales process with limited complexity, handling accounts or opportunities of a smaller size. Your work will involve following established sales processes to sell standard products/services, with guidance from your manager. Collaboration with internal teams and support functions will be a key aspect of your role, although direct client contact may be limited. You will operate within a specific area or account base, focusing on small to moderately-sized accounts/opportunities with limited complexity. The ideal candidate will have less than 6 years of experience along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. A strong educational background and relevant certifications will provide a solid foundation for success in this role.
