Job Title: Business Development Executive (Upwork)

Location: Indore, India

Experience: 2+ years in Business Development / Lead Generation

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and target-oriented Business Development Specialistwith a proven track record of generating leads and securing projects from freelancingplatforms, particularly Upwork and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will be responsible foridentifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients seeking web, mobile, Shopify, and AIdriven software development services, ensuring a continuous pipeline of new businessopportunities. This position offers a handsome bonus and commission structure based

on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

1. Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities on freelancingplatforms, with a primary focus on Upwork.

2. Craft compelling proposals and bids tailored to client requirements on theseplatforms.

3. Develop and execute strategies to consistently generate high-quality leads for web,mobile, Shopify, and AI-related software development projects.

Pipeline Management:

1. Maintain a robust and continuous pipeline of potential projects from initial contactto proposal submission.

2. Track and manage all lead activities and communications within a CRM system (ordesignated tracking tool).

Client Engagement & Communication:

1. Engage with prospects through written communication, and potentially calls/videoconferences, to understand their needs and articulate our solutions.

2. Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to foster long-termpartnerships.

Market Understanding:

1. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client demands withinthe freelancing platform ecosystem.

2. Possess a good understanding of software development lifecycle for web andmobile applications, Shopify development, and AI concepts to effectivelycommunicate with prospects.

Target Achievement:

1. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and projectacquisition targets.

2. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize leadgeneration efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 2+ years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation,specifically with a focus on freelancing platforms like Upwork.

2. Demonstrable proficiency in lead generation using freelancing portals, especiallyUpwork, including advanced search techniques, proposal writing, and clientcommunication.

3. Strong ability to maintain a continuous pipeline of projects and manage multipleleads simultaneously.

4. Excellent written communication skills in English are a must.

5. Strong analytical skills to identify future trends and emerging opportunities onUpwork Jobs.

6. Good understanding of software development processes for both web and mobileapplications.

7. Good understanding of Shopify platform capabilities and common AIconcepts/applications.

8. Target-oriented professional with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.

9. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

10.Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.

Qualification Requirements:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

(MCA or BE candidates with relevant experience and skills are also eligible to
