About the Role

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and online databases.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings with decision-makers.
  • Create multiple lead sources through email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach.

2. Client Engagement

  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored ERP/IT solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demos to prospective clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals successfully.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry updates.
  • Provide valuable insights to marketing and product development teams.

5. CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 2+ years in Business Development or Sales in the ERP/IT domain.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and IT services.
  • Proven experience in handling products with a ticket value of 20 lakhs or above.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven professional.

Good to Have

  • Experience with email marketing campaigns.
  • Exposure to industrial exhibitions and conferences.
