Business Development Executive

Job Title:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive sales and expand our customer base in the steel manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales skills, market understanding, and experience in industrial or infrastructure-related product sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in steel products (e.g., TMT bars, structural steel, coils, sheets, etc.)
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients including builders, fabricators, infrastructure companies, and contractors
  
• Visit client sites, conduct product presentations, and understand customer requirements
  
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth
  
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to stay ahead in the market
  
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients in alignment with company policies
  
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  
• Maintain sales records and prepare reports using CRM tools or Excel
  
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities
  

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  
• Proven experience in B2B sales; experience in steel or construction material industry preferred
  
• Strong knowledge of steel products, grades, and applications
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  
• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  
• Ability to travel extensively as per business requirements
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  

Preferred:

• Knowledge of the local market and industry contacts
  
• Experience with government tenders or institutional sales
