Role Overview

Business Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and regularly update regulatory documents (e.g., process standards) in close collaboration with process experts and authors.
  
• Drive centralization and harmonization of activities across Procurement processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with predefined document layouts, formatting standards, and Quality Management (QM) system requirements.
  
• Validate processes for accuracy, logical structure, completeness, and appropriate level of detail.
  
• Review processes for up-to-dateness using defined checklists.
  
• Verify process scope, including predecessor, successor, and higher-level process alignment.
  
• Create and maintain swimlane diagrams in

  ARIS

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  KSU

  standards and support the creation and maintenance of

  KPIs

  .
• Obtain and manage approval protocols from relevant interface partners.
  
• Coordinate findings and improvements with process owners.
  
• Archive processes and maintain an up-to-date process overview.
  
• Work within

  POPeye

  , the Volkswagen Group Wiki workspace, to display and edit regulatory documents, ensuring a high degree of standardization.
• Create and adapt process templates in the Group Wiki in line with QM requirements.
  
• Support internal process authors and maintain the handbook for process creation and maintenance in the Group Wiki.
  
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive

  process map

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in

  process management

  ,

  business consulting

  , or

  quality management

  roles.
• Hands-on experience with

  process documentation

  , governance, and standardization.
• Familiarity with

  QM systems

  , regulatory documentation, and audit requirements.
• Working knowledge of

  ARIS

  for process modeling and swimlane creation.
• Experience working with wiki-based documentation tools (preferably enterprise platforms such as Group Wiki).
  
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
  
• High attention to detail with excellent documentation and communication abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in

  Procurement

  or supply-chain-related processes.
• Exposure to

  Volkswagen Group systems

  , standards, or methodologies.
• KPI definition and reporting experience.
