Job Title:Test ManagerExperience:6–12 years________________________________________Role OverviewThe Test Manager will lead and manage the testing function across projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables through robust test strategies, planning, and execution. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.________________________________________Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & PlanningoDefine and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals.oPrepare detailed test plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation.Team LeadershipoManage and mentor a team of testers, ensuring optimal resource allocation.oConduct capacity planning and assign tasks based on complexity and priority.Test Execution & ReportingoOversee functional, regression, and automation testing activities.oEnsure timely execution of test cases and maintain real-time status dashboards.oAnalyze test results, identify defects, and drive defect management processes.Stakeholder ManagementoCollaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure quality standards.oCommunicate progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.Automation & ToolsoAdvocate and implement automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT).oEnsure integration of automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines.Continuous ImprovementoIdentify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.oStay updated with emerging testing tools and methodologies.________________________________________Required Skills &
QualificationsExperience:6–12 years in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, UFT, or similar.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.________________________________________Good to HaveExposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.ISTQB or equivalent certification.
