Business and QA Analyst

As a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your 5+ years of experience will be invaluable in ensuring that requirements are well-defined, thoroughly tested, and validated throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications from stakeholders. - Process Analysis: Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in current business processes. - Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, and process flow diagrams. - Communication & Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and shared understanding of project goals. - Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate workshops, and align on project scope and deliverables. Quality Assurance: - Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. - Test Execution: Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) manually and using automated tools. - Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and report software defects, working with development teams for timely resolution. - Reporting: Create detailed test reports, provide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and product quality metrics to project managers and stakeholders. - Quality Standards: Ensure products and services meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and user expectations. - Continuous Improvement: Proactively recommend and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong emphasis on technology-based projects. - 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) role with expertise in testing web-based applications. - Experience in web responsive testing using BrowserStack. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead meetings and present information effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Solid understanding of Agile and other project management methodologies. - Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar. - Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a significant plus.
