Business Analyst/Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• The Business Analyst / Data Analyst day-to-day activities include: Partner with senior stakeholders, product managers, product owners, and program teams to gather, refine, and document business requirements that generate useful insights for end users, including consultants, recruiters, and marketing experts.
• Work closely with development teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical definitions and requirements. Actively contribute to product design through insightful recommendations on dashboard functionality, user experience, and global reporting standards.
• Perform quality assurance testing and validation to ensure products adhere to business requirements, functional specifications, and design expectations.
• The candidate must be inquisitive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated, with excellent communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
• They should be equally comfortable partnering with business leaders to define "the right questions to answer" as they are collaborating with developers to ensure accurate, high-quality product delivery.

The role will focus on the following areas and require knowledge & skills outlined below:

• Analytics: Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries, data analysis, presenting findings, and providing evidence based guidance.
• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Experienced in eliciting, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements from diverse stakeholders, framing business questions that lead to actionable insights, and collaborating across global teams to align business needs with technical capabilities.

• Quality Assurance & Validation: Hands-on in QA testing, UAT, and product validation, ensuring solutions meet requirements, align with design standards, and deliver meaningful insights.
• Knowledge & Tools: Proficient with JIRA, Salesforce, Looker, BigQuery, and Google Suite, experienced in Agile methodologies for requirement tracking and collaboration, and familiar with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/DOMO) and data structures to support effective reporting.

Technical Competencies:

• Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business processes and ability to connect them to reporting and data needs.
• Technical Literacy: Working knowledge of BI tools, data structures, and platforms (e.g., Looker,Salesforce, BigQuery) relevant to the role.
