Business Analyst/Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct business analytics and data analysis to derive and validate table values used for business calculations and models
• Use advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA/macros) for reporting and automation
• Model and simulate sales processes to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements
• Track and monitor sales numbers, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with the sales team to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Partner with the Qlik team to provide logic, data structures, and business rules for dashboard development
• Ensure dashboards and reports align with business needs and deliver actionable insights
• Provide recommendations for process improvements
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
• Document business requirements, processes, and reporting logic

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelors in Data Analytics, Business Analytics/ Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data analytics, business reporting or simulation analysis roles
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, formula-based logic)
• Experience with Excel Macros (VBA) for automation and simulation modeling
• Strong understanding of data structures and business logic mapping
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation
• Exposure to simulation or scenario modeling techniques such as sensitivity analysis, what-if analysis
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of Python/R for analytical modeling or automation
• Familiarity with cloud data environments (AWS, Snowflake or Redshift).
