Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to

  pharma commercial operations, sales, and distribution data

  .
• Work with stakeholders to understand and document business processes, data flows, and reporting needs across

  manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and pharmacies

  .
• Analyze

  pharma channel data

  (e.g., IQVIA, DDD, Xponent, 867/852 transaction data) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements for data and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and IT teams to ensure alignment between business goals and data systems.
• Develop data mapping documents, business process flows, and user stories.
• Support validation and testing of data integration, reporting, and visualization solutions.
• Prepare business and functional documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and process models.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodology to participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with pharma regulatory and data privacy standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 years

  of experience as a

  Business Analyst

  , with at least

  3 years

  in the

  pharmaceutical domain

  .
• Strong understanding of

  pharma data ecosystems

  sales data, syndicated data, claims data, and channel partner data.
• Hands-on experience with

  pharma data sources

  such as IQVIA, Symphony, or IMS data.
• Knowledge of

  channel data (867, 852 transactions, DDD, Xponent, Chargeback, EDI formats)

  .
• Experience working on

  data warehousing, analytics, or reporting projects

  .
• Strong skills in

  SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or similar tools

  for data analysis and validation.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in

  Agile

  environments with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  CRM (Salesforce, Veeva)

  or data management platforms.
• Exposure to

  data governance

  and

  master data management (MDM)

  in the pharma context.
• Knowledge of

  pharma commercial operations

  (sales, marketing, market access, patient programs).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science, or related field

  .
