About the project:

We are the development center for Sbers India branch.
The Agile team consists of 200+ IT professionals with the potential to grow to 500+ in 2025.
You have a unique opportunity to participate in building an Automated Banking System (ABS) for Sbers Indian branch from scratch.
The system consists of a set of modules - core, accounting, reporting, credit and non-credit products, internet banking and anti-fraud system. You can directly participate in the creation of any of them, influence the architecture, the quality, the processes, the way they should look in the end.
Our pros are no legacy, no complicated, hardened processes, modern technology.
Our goal is to make our own, small Sber for the foreign market.

About the role:

Business Analyst will be a liaison between technology, operations, and various business units to lead and facilitate the creation and specification of business requirements regarding core banking solutions or enhancements to existing business processes and solutions. Position works closely with end-users / developers, identifies and specifies business processes, analyses requirements, extracts business rules, resolves problems, testing, documenting, implementing and supporting new product implementation and releases.

Responsibilities:

  • analysis and documents business unit needs, objectives and requirements
  • systematic thinking and clear expression of thoughts, good verbal / written communication
  • perform a gap analysis between current and desired processes and systems
  • work cross-functionally with end users and technical team to collect, evaluate and compress data and information from multiple sources and differentiate between actual and required user needs
  • tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications. Develops, writes, updates and maintains protocols. Internal controls and detailed universally understood standard operating procedures for end user reference and training use
  • proactively participate in user acceptance testing. develop testing scenarios and scripts, identify and document functional test cases
  • to describe processes (BPMN)
  • to describe user stories and user story map
  • to work in JIRA & Confluence.

Requirements:

required level of education (minimum, one of): Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Information and Technology, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Finance or Banking at least one major has to be in Information Technology (IT)
at least 3 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience in banking domains & CBS application (Oracle Flexcube, Infosys Finacle or Temenos Transact)
experience in writing business requirements for at least 4 years
experience in data analysis spotting trends and relationships
knowledge of regulatory, operational and analytical reporting.

Will be a plus:

  • knowledge of one of business areas - Indian accounting, Indian regulatory reporting, securities / stock market / capital markets, passive banking products, transactional business, trade finance, remote banking services
  • knowledge of SQL/ PL SQL (Postgre SQL & Oracle SQL) at the level of writing complex, nested queries/ procedures
  • knowledge of software development life cycle, UML & basic process description tool and techniques
  • knowledge and experience of FT & Payments (SWIFT, RTGS, NEFT) and integration with third party applications
  • Agile (Scrum Master) certification
  • knowledge of Russian Language.
