Business Analyst

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Interface with clients and project stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Document requirements, create flowcharts, and present them to clients for approval.
• Research and propose solutions to client problems in coordination with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Collaborate with designers to propose and finalize designs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and estimate requirements and specifications in liaison with SMEs and technical teams.
• Coordinate with QA experts to ensure the project scope is well-defined and provide sign-off.
• Participate actively in project planning, execution, and tracking processes.
• Work collaboratively with the development team to implement solutions effectively.
• Deliver high-quality case studies to showcase successful project outcomes.
• Bachelors degree is Engineering.
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Google Doc, Excel.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions.
• Excellent communication skills(Written & verbal), very good negotiation and convincing skills; ability to explain approach, process, and insights to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others.
• Strong passion for technology and understanding of industry trends.
• Minimum 3 years of Engineering in development background is an added advantage.
• Understand the approved features from the Product Manager and create an Epic for the feature in JIRA. Breaks down the EPIC into detailed user stories with help from other BAs on the team.
• Gets buy in for the detailed user stories from the product manager and the business stakeholder. Helps other BAs to detail out the acceptance criteria and aligns the same with the business stakeholders.
• Works with the UI/UX team to deliver mock ups of features and gets buy in from various stakeholders. Collaborates on the technical delivery plan (including sprint plan) with the technical delivery lead and scrum master of the product.
• Acts as the go-to person for the technical team related to any query, clarification etc. Ensures that the proper outcomes are being achieved from every sprint.
• Executes sprint demos to the product manager and the business stakeholders.
• Details out test scenarios, testing scripts with the testing team.
• Ensures that the testers are aware of the functionality that are to be tested.
• Executes the integrated testing with the help of the tester in the team.
• Validates that the requirements are being met or not post the testing and flags out discrepancies.
• Runs User Acceptance Testing once the feature is delivered. Establishes go-live criteria.
• Jointly responsible along with the Technical lead for cutover and go-live. Runs Hypercare support and remains the contact point for the business stakeholder to ensure that the adoption picks up
