Business Analyst

Role Overview: As part of Team noon, you will be working with some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working individuals in the industry. Being a part of a young, aggressive, and talented team, you will play a crucial role in driving major missions forward. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around translating business problems into clear analytic problem statements, developing analytical frameworks to address these issues, and deriving actionable insights from data analytics to enhance and streamline processes. Additionally, you will be owning data analytics projects, providing recommendations to all teams, and contributing to organization-wide initiatives aimed at improving data literacy and capabilities through the introduction of innovative technology. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business problems into unambiguous analytic problem statements and design analytical frameworks to address them. - Develop a strong understanding of business, product, and growth requirements and build solutions. - Derive insights from data analytics and provide actionable recommendations to improve and streamline processes. - Own data analytics projects and provide recommendations to all the teams. - Enable report preparation using different BI Tools for analysis and visualizing data (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Drive organization-wide initiatives to enhance data literacy and data capabilities by introducing innovative technology and improving current processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent. - 1-2 years of experience in Analytics, specifically within the ecommerce industry. - Excellent data analysis skills, including investigation, modeling, mapping, and gap analysis. - Proficiency in Tableau/Power BI and other business intelligence and analytical tools. - Expertise in SQL/Python/R/SAS. - Ability to develop, test, and deploy models on cloud/web platforms. - Experience in handling large datasets with expert data modeling skills. - Strong knowledge of fundamentals, such as funnel analytics, customer segmentation, user activity modeling, churn analytics, and A/B testing. - Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to conceptualize, organize, and simplify. - Capacity to own projects end-to-end, including building timelines, key milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and delivering against agreed-upon specifications. - Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
