Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting and analyzing requirements by conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions to gather both functional and non-functional needs. Your detailed analysis will help in understanding end-user requirements and defining comprehensive business needs. Additionally, you will evaluate current systems/processes and suggest enhancements for improvement. You will be converting requirements into User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria using tools like JIRA and Planner. Maintaining Product Backlogs, contributing to Sprint Planning, and creating supporting documents such as Process Flows, Wireframes, and Data Flow Diagrams will also be part of your responsibilities. Being the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, and UI/UX Designers. This collaboration will ensure mutual understanding and effective stakeholder management. Your role will involve supporting the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch reviews, participating in Product Roadmap discussions, and strategic planning. Additionally, you will conduct GAP Analysis, Feasibility Studies, and Competitive Benchmarking to drive product development. You will design and execute UAT plans, support QA teams in developing test cases, and validate product releases to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance. Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC methodologies will be crucial for this role. Your expertise in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, and SQL will aid in data analysis, wireframing, workflows, and querying. Excellent documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills are necessary for effective project management in a fast-paced environment. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, along with 5-8 years of experience in Business Analysis, particularly in a product-based or SaaS environment. Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, or Agile BA certifications will be a plus. Preferred domain experience in FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, E-commerce, or SaaS platforms, and working with B2B/B2C product lines will be advantageous for this role.
