Business Analyst II - Client Facing Documentation

As a Business Analyst at FIS, you will be responsible for performing analyses of business goals, objectives, and needs within the general business environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting research and analysis to support business operations and presenting findings to managers or project leaders. - Planning and designing business processes to recommend changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Utilizing systems and data to resolve business issues effectively. - Identifying and implementing best practices to improve current business processes. - Developing recommendations to solve problems related to business operations. - Analyzing and documenting business processes and metrics to identify improvement opportunities. - Providing coaching and guidance to less experienced Business Analysts when needed. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or information systems, or equivalent education, training, or work experience. Additionally, you should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Knowledge of FIS products and services as well as the financial services industry. - Proficiency in standard office software and industry-standard process methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for various levels within the organization. - Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to estimate work effort for projects and ensure successful completion. - Excellent interpersonal, team, customer service, negotiation, conflict management, and time management skills. This is a developing level role at FIS, requiring moderate skills with a high level of proficiency. You will work on small to large, complex projects that demand advanced skills in business analysis, process modeling, and financial analysis. With four or more years of business analysis experience, you will have the opportunity to work independently under general supervision, with the latitude for independent judgment and consulting with senior peers on specific projects.,
