Job Description - Business Analyst Crypto Private Banking Platform (India)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support the launch and enhancement of a crypto-only private banking platform in India. The ideal candidate will combine deep product expertise, strong crypto domain knowledge, and excellent customer-facing skills to drive the successful customization, integration, and delivery of the platform s India-specific features.

This is a full-time, six-month assignment (extendable). The BA will work closely with product, technology, and client teams to align business objectives with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, product vision, and India-specific regulatory and operational needs.

Translate crypto and financial use cases into detailed business and functional requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows).

Lead requirement workshops, gap analysis, and solution validation sessions with internal and external teams.

Work closely with product, development, and compliance teams to customize the existing FX platform for crypto, including eKYC, onboarding forms, and payment flows.

Define acceptance criteria and support UAT by preparing test cases and validating implementation outcomes.

Identify dependencies, risks, and process improvements to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with Indian crypto and data regulations.

Maintain clear, structured documentation of requirements, decisions, and implementation status.

Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and delivery teams, ensuring business alignment and timely communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, fintech, or digital banking.

Proven hands-on experience with crypto products, exchanges, or blockchain-based financial services.

Strong understanding of digital banking workflows, KYC/eKYC, regulatory compliance, and customer onboarding in the Indian context.

Ability to translate complex technical and product concepts into clear business terms.

Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently on a high-visibility initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to product management or product ownership roles in fintech or crypto environments.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with distributed teams.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to crypto and digital assets in India.

Experience with reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau).

Engagement Details

Type: Full-time, Contract (6 months minimum)

Location: India (remote/hybrid options may be considered)
