Job Description
We re looking for a Business Analyst with deep experience in P&C insurance and a strong understanding of Guidewire Cloud integration technologies. You will play a key role in translating complex business needs into scalable solutions across InsuranceSuite applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with insurance clients to gather and document business and system requirements related to ClaimCenter integrations.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams working on Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud API, Event Messaging, Batch Processes, and REST APIs.
  • Act as a bridge between business and development teams to support design, testing, and deployment of integration solutions.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and user story sessions to identify pain points, current workflows, and process gaps.
  • Validate solution scope, assist in effort estimation, and support backlog grooming in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Collaborate with UX, QA, architects, and SI partners to ensure solutions align with both technical feasibility and business value
  • Prepare and deliver functional documents, demo scripts, and stakeholder updates.
  • Provide input on solution design decisions and ensure business requirements are met through effective implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance domain, particularly working on claims systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter. Working knowledge of other Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ContactManager is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of leading requirement gathering sessions, conducting analysis, developing functional specifications, performing business walkthroughs and tracing requirements into UAT and implementation.
  • Good understanding of integration technologies: Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud API, REST APIs, Event Messaging and Batch Processing.
  • Excellent documentation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating across global, cross-functional teams and able to work in flexible time zones / shifts where required.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and maintaining requirement traceability throughout the lifecycle.
  • Certification such as Guidewire ACE - ClaimCenter Business Analyst. is a plus
