Business Analyst - Capital Markets

As a Business Analyst in Capital Markets with over 6 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in engaging with Buy Side OMS users, such as traders, portfolio managers, compliance teams, and Operations, to understand their workflows, pain points, and business requirements. Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting detailed functional and technical requirements related to the Order Management System (OMS) and other trading-related applications. Collaborating with both business and technology stakeholders will be essential to refine requirements and prioritize feature enhancements. Your expertise in Charles River Development (CRD) or Aladdin OMS experience will be a significant advantage in this role. Utilizing SQL to query databases for data extraction, validation, and analysis will be a key part of your day-to-day tasks. You will also be responsible for specifying and tracking feature development and issue resolution using Jira following Agile methodology. Participating in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensuring successful deployment of changes will be among your key responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of Buyside workflows and Order Management Systems (OMS). Excellent communication skills are crucial as you interact with various stakeholders, including traders, portfolio managers, compliance teams, and developers. Your proficiency in Jira for requirements documentation and feature tracking, as well as experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, will be highly beneficial. While a background in Fixed Income or another asset class from Front to Back is preferred, having hands-on experience with SQL for querying and data analysis is essential. Understanding FIX Protocol and other trading system integrations, as well as exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, would be advantageous. This is a full-time position requiring in-person work in either Pune or Hyderabad. Your expertise in Charles River Development and Aladdin OMS, along with your experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets, will be vital for success in this role.,
