Job Description: Business Analyst Payments Domain
Experience: 6 to 8 Years (IT) Job Locations: Pune & Hyderabad Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office (WFO)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment systems
• Work on end-to-end payment lifecycle: initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Prepare and maintain BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and use cases
• Coordinate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure requirement clarity
• Support UAT activities, including test case review and defect management
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, and regulatory guidelines
• Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of overall IT experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong hands-on experience in the Payments domain
• Good understanding of:
• Payment modes: Cards, UPI, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Wallets
• Payment gateways, switches, and processors
• Transaction monitoring and reconciliation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall models
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good to Have

Exposure to core banking systems or fintech platforms

• Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging
• Experience with API and microservices-based integrations
