Job Description

Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank and business units to improve overall control effectiveness through detailed documentation of control assessments, procedures, and findings.
Identify and investigate potential weaknesses and issues within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation aligned with the bank's control framework.
Develop reports to communicate key findings from risk assessment, including control weaknesses and recommendations to control owners, senior management, and other stakeholders.
Execute reviews to determine the effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework aligned with established policies, regulations, and best practices.
Implement adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and set appropriate methodology for assessing controls against the Controls Framework.
Lead complex tasks using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver work that impacts the whole business function.
Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraising performance relative to objectives and determining reward outcomes.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors such as listening and being authentic, energizing and inspiring others, aligning across the enterprise, and developing others.
Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
Perform work closely related to other areas, requiring an understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.
Collaborate with other areas of work for business-aligned support, staying up-to-date with business activity and strategy.
Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Communicate complex information, influencing or convincing stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Demonstrate respect, integrity, service, excellence, and stewardship our moral compass, helping us do what we believe is right.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven projects.
Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Strong knowledge of GRC/IRM frameworks and regulatory compliance processes.
Proficiency in requirements analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog grooming, and user story creation.
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and data migration strategies.
Deep understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks.
Ability to map business processes to ServiceNow workflows and identify automation opportunities.
Experience in translating regulatory requirements into technical configurations.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
This role requires leadership responsibilities, demonstrating clear leadership behaviors to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard.
