Job Description

Business Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Requirements & Analysis:

    Collaborate with product owners, scientists, clinicians, and commercial teams to gather, document, and analyze product requirements. You will perform thorough analysis of business processes and data flows, translating complex scientific and business data into actionable insights that inform product strategy and prioritization.
  • Data & Reporting:

    Track and analyze product usage metrics and

    KPIs

    , using tools like

    Power BI

    or

    Tableau

    to visualize performance. You will develop and maintain product dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders and executive teams.
  • Strategic Support:

    Drive data-informed decision-making across regulatory, commercial, and clinical landscapes. You will support clinical and

    R&D

    product initiatives by analyzing scientific datasets, publications, and real-world evidence (

    RWE

    ).
  • Collaboration:

    Act as a liaison between scientific users, business leads, and technical teams, including engineering and

    UX

    , to ensure all perspectives are reflected in the product roadmap. You will also contribute to go-to-market planning, including product positioning and messaging.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree with 5-7+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 7-9+ years of experience in a Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Data Analyst in the Life Sciences, Biotech, or Healthcare domain.
  • A strong understanding of drug development processes, clinical research, or medical device product lifecycles.
  • The ability to work with and interpret scientific and clinical datasets, publications, and regulatory documentation.
  • Familiarity with

    Agile

    product development,

    JIRA

    ,

    Confluence

    , and

    product lifecycle management (PLM)

    tools.
  • An educational background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Scaled Agile SAFe

    certification is preferred.
