We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Biotechnology domain. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging business, data, and product teams to support the development and optimization of innovative healthcare and scientific products. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing scientific, clinical, and market data to identify product opportunities and drive data-informed decisions throughout the product development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities Requirements & Analysis: Collaborate with product owners, scientists, clinicians, and commercial teams to gather, document, and analyze product requirements. You will perform thorough analysis of business processes and data flows, translating complex scientific and business data into actionable insights that inform product strategy and prioritization. Data & Reporting: Track and analyze product usage metrics and KPIs , using tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize performance. You will develop and maintain product dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders and executive teams. Strategic Support: Drive data-informed decision-making across regulatory, commercial, and clinical landscapes. You will support clinical and R&D product initiatives by analyzing scientific datasets, publications, and real-world evidence ( RWE ). Collaboration: Act as a liaison between scientific users, business leads, and technical teams, including engineering and UX , to ensure all perspectives are reflected in the product roadmap. You will also contribute to go-to-market planning, including product positioning and messaging. Qualifications A Master's degree with 5-7+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 7-9+ years of experience in a Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 5-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Data Analyst in the Life Sciences, Biotech, or Healthcare domain. A strong understanding of drug development processes, clinical research, or medical device product lifecycles. The ability to work with and interpret scientific and clinical datasets, publications, and regulatory documentation. Familiarity with Agile product development, JIRA , Confluence , and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools. An educational background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field is a plus. Scaled Agile SAFe certification is preferred. Soft Skills Analytical: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly learn, organize, and pay attention to detail. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork: The ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams and a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.

As the Data Analytics Manager , you will serve as the subject matter expert on reporting design, meaningful metrics, and storytelling through data for the Strategic Insights + Analytics ( SIA ) Team. You will leverage your expert hands-on skills in Tableau , Power BI , and ETL development to create and optimize reports that meet the needs of stakeholders in the CFO organization. This role reports to a Senior Manager in Thousand Oaks, California, and requires close collaboration with both US and India-based teams. Primary Responsibilities Reporting Development: Personally develop key reports and analytics in Tableau or Power BI in response to critical, just-in-time requests. You will be responsible for progressing quickly developed reports to a polished, automated, and future-proof state. Strategic Guidance: Provide actionable, expert guidance to the SIA and FIT Reporting + Analytics teams on reporting design and development. You will also help design and implement a reporting strategy, which may include a full-scale reporting migration from Tableau to Power BI . Consultation & Collaboration: Provide consultation support to other reporting and analytics developers within the CFO organization. You will partner with colleagues in both the US and India to achieve shared objectives. Technology & Trends: Stay current with the latest reporting and analytics trends and technology, and make recommendations to leadership as needed. You will have development experience with cloud storage and ETL tools like Databricks and Prophecy . Required Skills & Qualifications A Master's degree with 5 years of finance or analytics development experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of finance or analytics development experience. Expert proficiency in Tableau and Power BI development. Expert skill in reporting design and defining meaningful metrics. Advanced business analyst skills, with the ability to grasp and translate business requirements into technical requirements. Development experience with cloud storage and ETL tools such as Databricks and Prophecy . A solid understanding of finance concepts, financial statements, and financial data. The ability to manage large and complex datasets. Additional Preferred Experience Familiarity with financial systems like Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP S/4 Hana , and Workday . Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA . The ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders outside of the SIA/FIT teams.
