Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Quality Assurance expertise who specializes in Indian HRMS systems and Payroll Management. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation while ensuring quality delivery of HRMS solutions.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for HRMS implementations and enhancements
• Work closely with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to understand processes and pain points
• Create detailed functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
• Conduct gap analysis between current processes and system capabilities
• Design solutions for payroll processing, compliance, and statutory requirements
• Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)

Quality Assurance

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans for HRMS modules
• Create detailed test cases and test scenarios for payroll and HR processes
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Validate statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other Indian payroll regulations
• Test payroll calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and tax computations
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation testing
• Ensure quality standards are met before production releases

Job Specific Competencies:

HRMS & Payroll Management

• Configure and support HRMS systems for core HR and payroll modules
• Ensure accurate implementation of Indian statutory compliance requirements
• Validate salary structures, allowances, deductions, and tax calculations
• Support month-end and year-end payroll processing activities
• Assist in payroll audits and reconciliation processes
• Stay updated with changes in Indian labor laws and tax regulations
