Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a bureau reporter located in Ahmedabad. The Bureau Reporter will be responsible for covering news stories, conducting interviews, and reporting on current events within the assigned region. Tasks include gathering and verifying information, writing and editing news reports, collaborating with the newsroom team, and adhering to deadlines. The role also involves live reporting, attending news conferences, and building a network of sources to ensure accurate and timely news coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong journalism skills in gathering, verifying, and reporting news
• Experience in writing and editing news reports
• Excellent communication and interviewing skills
• Proficiency in live reporting and attending news conferences
• Ability to work with a team and under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of news and events within the assigned region is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Fluency in both English and Hindi is preferred
