Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Release & DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and streamline our software release and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting, and database management to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute software release activities using Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Docker.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient integration and deployment.
Oversee containerization and orchestration of microservices-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement automation scripts using Python and Shell to optimize build and deployment processes.
Ensure security and compliance across releases following standards such as OAuth2 and ELDAP.
Manage artifact repositories using tools like Ansible, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
Administer and optimize Oracle and MySQL databases during deployment activities.
Maintain detailed release documentation, track versioning, and support post-deployment validations.
Collaborate with development, QA, and production teams to ensure efficient and reliable release cycles.
Support adoption of AI-driven automation tools in the supply chain domain where applicable.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Strong experience in release management and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Hands-on expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Bitbucket.
Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
Good understanding of database administration (Oracle, MySQL) and security protocols.
Experience in supply chain domain or AI-driven automation is a plus.
