Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Build & Release Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to support our software development lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible for managing development and build processes using InstallShield , scripting with VBScript/JavaScript , working with .NET applications , and handling SQL Server tasks. Basic knowledge of Virtual Machines and Azure DevOps concepts is required. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain InstallShield projects for application installation and deployment. Support build and release activities for .NET applications . Write and debug automation scripts using VBScript and JavaScript . Work with SQL Server for database updates, queries, and deployment support. Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure smooth build and deployment cycles. Manage builds and environments on Virtual Machines . Assist in implementing Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD processes. Troubleshoot build failures and provide quick resolutions. Maintain proper documentation of build and release processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 1 year of experience in software build and release engineering . Hands-on experience with InstallShield for installer packaging. Basic to intermediate knowledge of .NET framework . Experience with VBScript and JavaScript scripting. Good knowledge of SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, deployment). Familiarity with Virtual Machines (VMWare/Hyper-V/VirtualBox) . Understanding of Azure DevOps concepts (Repos, Pipelines, Boards). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
