Role name and description
A senior should be able to lead teams of Analysts and Advanced analysts and be responsible for client service delivery for a particular geography, area or specialization. Reporting in to a Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager, they will assist the management team in developing and coaching team members as well as ensuring that resources are deployed effectively

The job holder will work on U.S. individual, gift, trust and partnership tax returns
Your key responsibilities
Client responsibilities
- Demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. individual, trust and partnership
- returns; demonstrate an understanding of more complex technical issues
- Drive the tax return preparation process, review complex tax returns and other tax deliverables
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues
- Explore opportunities to bring more work to the GDS and to EY by consistently providing high quality work
- Supervise day to day operations and engagement milestones with little or no manager involvement
- Demonstrate leadership skills in developing the highest performing teams
- Help Senior Managers and Managers with advisory and ad-hoc projects
- Develop engagement and financial management skills by managing own and/or other s impact on project economics,
- including controlling costs, monitoring budget to actual differences
- Contribute process improvement ideas leading to higher quality service delivery to the client or greater efficiency in the compliance process
- Identify opportunities to leverage information and resources across assignments and teams
People responsibilities

- Lead by example and be a role model
- Contribute actively to creating a high performing team
- Assist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested
Additional skills requirements
- Preferable with Certified EA, CPA or equivalent.
- Demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. individual, gift, trust and partnership returns.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. individual, gift, trust and partnership returns.
- Good English skills
- Good with MS office word, excel, outlook etc.
- Have formal education in commerce/ finance
- Bachelors or Masters degree in finance/commerce
- 3+ years of working with major global corporation (Big 4, Finance shared services etc.)
