B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Material Inspection:

• Inspect incoming materials- Stainless material (e.g., Pipe, Round Bar, Plate, fittings) to verify material with purchase order and Mill test report (chemical composition and mechanical properties.)
• Verify that materials are stored and handled properly to prevent damage or degradation.

Fabrication Inspection:

• Monitor fabrication processes at every stage, including cutting, forming & welding
• Inspect welds using visual inspection and non-destructive testing methods ( e.g., Dye Penetration test & Ultrasonic Testing )
• Perform NDT examination to detect defects and assess material integrity. Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine acceptability.

Dimensional Inspection:

• Verify the dimension of product and geometric configuration using measuring instruments .

Hydrostatic Testing:

• Witness hydrostatic tests to verify leakaging at weld joints and pressure vessel integrity.

Quality Assurance:

• Review inspection reports, test reports and other documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Implement quality assurance procedures to maintain consistency and product quality.
• Identify and report quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
