Branch Operations Manager

As a Regular Employee in the Retail Banking department at Standard Chartered in Siliguri, IN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily transactions for various products such as travelers cheques, cashiers orders, currency exchange, and more. You will be responsible for managing service delivery by observing queue times, maintaining branch premises, and improving workflow efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining control of keys, passwords, and cash valuables, ensuring compliance with policies related to ORMA, KYC/CDD/EDD, and preventing money laundering. You will supervise staff, provide coaching and training as needed, and identify cross-selling opportunities to improve branch performance. Additionally, you will oversee premises management, health and safety guidelines, and archival portfolio ownership for the branch. It is essential that you demonstrate strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a customer-centric approach. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in banking operations, along with a graduate or post-graduate qualification, is required.
