Job Description

Role Overview: As a Retail Banking Officer at Standard Chartered in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for approving daily transactions for selected products, managing service delivery to ensure efficient customer service, monitoring customer satisfaction ratings, and conducting general reconciliation and compliance activities. You will also be required to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to ORMA, Group Code of Conduct, KYC/CDD/EDD, and money laundering prevention, supervise staff, provide coaching and training, and contribute to branch performance through referrals and effective operations controls. Additionally, you will be responsible for premises management, health and safety, and archival portfolio ownership. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to ORMA, Group Code of Conduct, KYC/CDD/EDD, and money laundering prevention - Supervise staff, organize workflow, provide coaching and training, and ensure high employee engagement and satisfaction - Identify prospects for cross-selling, achieve optimum teller productivity, and contribute to branch performance through referrals and efficient customer service - Monitor transaction volumes, ensure effective transaction migration to alternate channels of banking, and adhere to the bank's Mis-selling & Sales Policies - Manage premises in areas of merchandising, housekeeping, and store management, ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed - Own the archival portfolio for the branch, liaise with external vendors, and maintain MIS with regard to documents archived Qualification Required: - Graduate/ Post Graduate - 1-4 years of overall experience - Banking knowledge, understanding of front and back office processes and procedures - Good interpersonal skills - Strong communication skills - Team-playing ability - Customer orientation and sales focus Additional Details: Standard Chartered is an international bank with a purpose to drive commerce and prosperity through unique diversity.
