Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

• Drive acquisition of new-to-bank customers for CASA, TDs, and other liability products.
  
• Meet branch liability targets through business development activities and cross-selling.
  
• Develop and execute branch-level sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HNIs, SMEs, and corporate clients.
  

Branch Operations & Compliance

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the branch with adherence to audit and compliance guidelines.
  
• Maintain operational efficiency and reduce risk by following internal processes and RBI regulations.
  
• Monitor and control cost efficiency within the branch.
  

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff to deliver superior performance.
  
• Conduct regular training and skill development sessions for the team.
  
• Drive performance culture and ensure target achievement.
  

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Ensure best-in-class customer service at the branch.
  
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
  
• Promote customer loyalty and retention through superior service standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field.
  
• 712 years of experience in branch banking, with at least 34 years in a leadership role.
  
• Experience in handling branch operations, sales, and team management.
  
• Exposure to Bangalore market will be preferred.
