Branch Manager - Life Insurance Direct Channel

As a Direct Channel Business Manager, your role is to lead and manage the assigned branch's Direct Channel business. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining quality business, and nurturing a high-performing team of Relationship Managers/Sales personnel. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Sales Leadership:** Drive the branch to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for life insurance products sourced through the Direct Channel. - **Team Management:** Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers/Direct Sales personnel. - **Performance & Retention:** Conduct regular performance reviews, provide on-the-field support, and focus on talent retention and team engagement. - **Business Quality:** Ensure adherence to underwriting norms, maintain high persistency (renewal rates), and focus on sourcing high-quality, profitable business. - **Compliance:** Ensure 100% adherence to all company processes, sales practices, and regulatory guidelines (IRDAI) to maintain a clean business record. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business. - 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance with a minimum of 1 year experience in team handling. - Channel Experience: Prior experience in the Direct Sales Channel of a life insurance company is highly valued.
