Branch Manager

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the branch team to achieve business targets, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver superior customer service. This role involves managing the overall profitability of the branch, driving sales of banking products, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development:

• Enhance the deposit pool from customers.
• Drive sales of non-deposit products including mutual funds and insurance.
• Achieve cross-selling and fee income targets.

• Branch Operations & Administration:

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with internal processes.
• Manage cash limits, queue management, and customer service standards.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and manage the productivity and morale of branch staff.
• Conduct regular training and development initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture.

• Customer Experience:

• Ensure customer delight through efficient service delivery.
• Resolve customer complaints within defined turnaround times (TAT).

• Strategic Collaboration:

• Liaise with product, marketing, and other verticals for service enhancements and new initiatives.
• Contribute to product development and process improvement.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Should be currently working as Branch Manager in retail banking.
• Tactical thinker with a 40:60 Thinker:Doer ratio.
• In-depth understanding of financial instruments and macro/microeconomic processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach.
