Job Position : Branch Manager - Gold Loans

Qualification : Graduate or post-graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Experience : 3 to 5 years in financial services, with significant experience in gold loan operations.

Location : Chennai

Key Responsibility :

Business Development & Sales

• Achieve branch targets for gold loan disbursement, revenue generation, and product cross-selling.
• Develop and execute local marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and customer footfall.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and RBI/NBFC guidelines related to gold appraisal, custody, and disbursement.
• Oversee the accurate and secure valuation of gold ornaments by the Appraiser.
• Manage daily branch operations, including cash management, vault operations, and audit readiness.

Team Management & Leadership

• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing branch team (e.g., Loan Officers, Appraisers, Tellers).
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Foster a customer-centric and ethical work environment.
