Job description Role Description: The role of Assistant Manager involves supporting the Branch Head by leading the branch team and catering to the needs of the banks customers. The job will involves 80% - Marketing & Sales, and 20%- Banking Operations. Role & responsibilities Sales of the Bank's products and services. Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to generate new business from them. Originate and acquire new leads from existing customers and other sources, converting them into business for the branch through marketing calls and customer visits. Cross-sell third-party products like insurance to existing customers. Generate leads for Current and Savings Accounts (CASA) with new customers and increase balances with existing customers. Generate leads for various loan products such as housing loans, jewel loans, vehicle loans, and personal loans. Regularly call and visit customers and leads for relationship building. Supporting the Branch Manager in Management of the Branch and Leading the team. Ensure timely processing of bank transactions like account opening, fund transfers, cheques, etc. Resolve customer queries promptly and improve customer relationships through good service. Handle day-to-day branch operations and efficiently manage all branch operation-related tasks. Comply with the bank's rules, internal guidelines, systems, and procedures. Effectively handle any assignments given by the Branch Manager or Management from time to time.
