Experience Required:

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing receiving inspection activities to ensure quality of incoming materials, reduce rejections, and support production efficiency. The role involves inspection, documentation, supplier coordination, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement quality plans for incoming parts in coordination with Supplier Quality Assurance.
• Inspect supplier parts and clear goods receipts in SAP as per inspection procedures.
• Raise inspection tags and coordinate with the lab for material testing.
• Decide on acceptance/rejection of parts and update SAP records.
• Raise and close Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR).
• Conduct supplier visits for rejection analysis and corrective action verification.
• Maintain SOPs and provide training to cell members.
• Support internal audits with corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor 5S, TPM, and quality systems in the inspection area.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and reporting for inspection activities.
• Supervise and train cell members, ensuring discipline and time management.

Key Performance Indicators:

• GR clearance rate
• PPM level of customer complaints due to bought-out parts
• SCAR closure rate
• Cost reduction (Plan vs Actual)
• Training effectiveness
• Audit NCRs
