BPO US Accounting - Senior

As a qualified candidate for the position, you should have a technical background such as CA Inter/CMA/MBA Fin/Chartered Accountant/CPA with 2+ years of experience OR Masters with 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably US accounting. Your experience should include Accounting reviews and a strong conceptual accounting knowledge with the ability to apply US GAAP. Additionally, you should be well-versed in software/applications like Excel, Word, QBO, Xero, SAGE, NetSuite, Yardi, MS Teams, and Zoom. Strong time management, organizational skills, self-starting attitude, collaborative nature, creativity, outgoing personality, and strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in business settings are also required. In terms of administrative responsibilities, you are expected to comply with Firm department policies, effectively utilize downtime while meeting the Firm's CPE requirement, and demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Preparing workpapers, accounting schedules, and extracting and preparing various management reports as per clients" needs. - Leading projects such as accounting clean-up, books rebuild, software migration, account adjustments, and furnishing necessary information to other departments. - Reviewing the work of Staff and providing constructive feedback. - Learning new software and developing technological skills for accounting and financial reporting. - Allocating work based on staff availability and competency. - Assisting staff in enhancing their skills through proper guidance. - Adhering to task deadlines and keeping the reviewer updated on progress. - Self-reviewing work for accuracy and completeness before submission. - Preparing SOP for assigned tasks and updating them regularly. - Adhering to internal policies, procedures, and controls. - Collaborating with both India-based and US-based staff for transactional activities, technical accounting activities, and reporting activities.
