BPO Supervisor

As a Medical Coding Team Lead, your responsibilities will include having expertise in specialties of ED Professional & Facility coding. You will be required to monitor unbilled accounts report for outstanding and/or un-coded encounters in order to reduce accounts receivable days. Ensuring adherence to coding guidelines within established productivity standards is essential. You will also address coding-related inquiries for providers as needed, restricted to the U.S. only. Attending meetings and in-service training sessions will be necessary to enhance your coding knowledge, compliance skills, and maintenance of credentials. Your role will involve providing supervision and direction to the team, managing their day-to-day activities, and offering trend analysis of issues along with solutions to customers. Responding to customer requests either by phone or in writing to ensure timely resolution of unpaid and denied claims is crucial. You must maintain and ensure adherence to SOP guidelines by team members, provide monthly feedback on their performance, and offer guidance to effectively complete assigned tasks. Additionally, you will attend meetings and in-service training sessions to enhance Accounts Receivable knowledge, compliance skills, and maintenance of credentials. Ensuring complete adherence to Turn-Around Time (TAT) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as defined by the customer is a key aspect of this role. Maintaining patient confidentiality and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations is mandatory. The required skills for this role include having at least 5 years of experience working on Revenue Cycle Management related to medical billing, a good understanding and working experience of End to End Claim Resolution model, and a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in Coding (medical billing). Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. You should demonstrate the ability to work in a challenging and changing work environment, applying methodologies to find the best-fit solutions. Possessing a coding certificate such as CPC, COC, or CCS is a requirement. Expertise with Windows PC applications, keyboard usage, MS Office, navigating screens, and learning new software tools is also necessary. The required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST. The shift timings are subject to change as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekends based on business requirements.,
