Job Description

As a Medical Coding Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the coding operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Expertise in specialties of ED Professional & Facility. - Monitoring unbilled accounts report for outstanding and/or un-coded encounters to reduce accounts receivable days. - Ensuring adherence to coding guidelines within established productivity standards. - Addressing coding-related inquiries for providers as needed, in the U.S. only. - Providing supervision and direction to the team and managing their day-to-day activities. - Providing trend analysis of issues and solutions to customers. - Responding to customer requests by phone and/or in writing to ensure timely resolution of unpaid and denied claims. - Maintaining and ensuring adherence to SOP guidelines by team members. - Providing monthly feedback to team members on their performance. - Providing guidance to the team members to effectively complete the assigned tasks. - Ensuring complete adherence to TAT and SLAs as defined by the customer. - Maintaining patient confidentiality and strict adherence to HIPAA. Qualifications required for this role: - 5+ years of experience working on Revenue Cycle Management regarding medical billing. - Good understanding and working experience of the End-to-End Claim Resolution model. - 1 or more years of supervisory experience in Coding (medical billing). - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging and changing work environment and apply methodologies to best fit solutions. - Should have a coding certificate (CPC, COC, CCS). - Expertise with Windows PC applications that required you to use a keyboard, MS Office, navigate screens, and learn new software tools. Please note the required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday 7:30 AM/5:30 PM IST. The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekends basis business requirements.,
