Job Title: Accountant / Tax Associate

About Us:
We are a Chartered Accountancy firm providing professional services in bookkeeping, GST compliance, and income tax filing. Our practice is moving towards a more digital and paperless working style, using Tally and Suvit software to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping in Tally and other accounting software.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.).
• Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, bank statements, and ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines (GST, TDS, Advance Tax, ITR, etc.).
• Support in preparation of working papers, audit schedules, and other documentation.
• Use Suvit for automated data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Communicate with clients for data collection, clarifications, and follow-ups.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com / M.Com / Inter-CA or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (knowledge of GST features is a plus).
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
• Basic understanding of Suvit software preferred (training can be provided).
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting concepts.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience Required:

• 0 to 3 years (Freshers with good knowledge can also apply).
