Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Role requires a highly skilled individual who can safely and efficiently manage all aspects of boiler operations, including ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operation. Adjust pressure, temperature, and fuel flow to maintain optimal performance.
Monitor indicators and controls to ensure that the boiler operates within safe limits and parameters.
Perform routine maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs. Troubleshoot boiler issues and coordinate with maintenance staff for major repairs.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including those set by OSHA, EPA, and local authorities. Report any safety concerns or hazards.
Ensure the proper management of fuel sources, water levels, and water treatment to optimize boiler efficiency
Maintain accurate logs of boiler performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents. Complete necessary reports as required by regulatory agencies.
Assist with other plant maintenance activities as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
