Job Title: Bodyshop Advisor Location: Kiran Motors Ltd – Adajan, Surat Department: Service (Bodyshop) Reports To: Bodyshop Manager / Service Manager Job Purpose: To act as the primary contact for customers requiring accident repair or bodyshop services, ensuring effective communication between the customer, insurance companies, and the workshop, while delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers visiting the bodyshop, understanding their repair/service needs. Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate job cards. Provide repair cost estimates, liaising with insurance companies for approvals. Explain repair processes, timelines, and costs to customers clearly. Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of jobs. Conduct regular follow-ups with customers regarding vehicle status. Ensure all documentation (insurance papers, claim forms, job cards, delivery notes) is completed accurately. Carry out final vehicle delivery process, ensuring repairs meet quality standards. Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide resolutions to ensure satisfaction. Achieve monthly targets for customer satisfaction, throughput, and revenue. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong customer handling and communication skills. Knowledge of accident repair process, bodyshop operations, and insurance claim procedures. Ability to prepare estimates and manage workflow efficiently. Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability. Computer literacy (DMS/CRM, MS Office). Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (preferred). 2–5 years of experience in automobile service industry (bodyshop/insurance advisor role preferred). Familiarity with Maruti Suzuki processes will be an added advantage.
