Position: BMS Testing Lead

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a BMS Testing Lead - Hardware & Software to drive the end-to-end testing strategy for our BMS platforms, EV products, and energy storage solutions. This role demands a holistic understanding of hardware validation, firmware reliability, software quality, system integration, and environmental compliance. You will lead the testing lifecycle across multiple domains to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

What You Will Do:

Lead the test strategy, planning, and execution for BMS and EV products across hardware, firmware, software, and system integration.
Design and execute functional, regression, stress, performance, and compliance tests for embedded systems.
Conduct environmental & reliability testing (thermal, vibration, humidity, EMC, etc.) to validate system robustness.
Oversee code review, unit testing, and integration testing for embedded firmware and application software.
Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to identify, isolate, and resolve defects early.
Build automated test frameworks and establish testing best practices across multiple product lines.
Drive test documentation, traceability, and reporting to meet automotive and energy industry standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, UN ECE R100, etc.).
Mentor and guide test engineers to ensure consistent execution of test plans and methodologies.

What We re Looking For:

Strong experience in embedded systems testing, ideally within EV, BMS, energy storage, or automotive electronics domains.
Solid knowledge of hardware validation, firmware verification, software QA methodologies, and system integration testing.
Hands-on expertise in using test equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, CAN tools, environmental chambers, etc.).
Familiarity with test automation frameworks, scripting (Python/Matlab/Vector tools), and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of safety and compliance standards (ISO 26262, IEC, UL, or automotive standards).
Proven ability to lead test strategy, mentor teams, and collaborate cross-functionally.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
