Job Summary:

The Blow Molding Machine Engineer is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving blow molding machinery used in the production of plastic containers and components. The engineer ensures optimal machine performance, high-quality product output, and efficient production operations while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Machine Operation & Setup

o Set up, adjust, and operate blow molding machines (extrusion, injection, or stretch blow molding).

o Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time to ensure consistent production quality.

o Perform mold changeovers, startup, and shutdown procedures efficiently.

· Maintenance & Troubleshooting

o Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on blow molding equipment.

o Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues in machines.

o Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

· Process Optimization

o Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.

o Modify process parameters to enhance product quality and material utilization.

o Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

· Quality Control

o Inspect finished products for defects, dimensions, and consistency according to specifications.

o Implement corrective actions for quality deviations.

o Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.

· Safety & Compliance

o Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.

o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

· Education:

o Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field.

· Experience:

o 2–5 years of experience operating or maintaining blow molding machinery (e.g., Kautex, Sidel, Bekum, Jomar, etc.).

· Technical Skills:

o Strong knowledge of extrusion, injection, and/or stretch blow molding processes.

o Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

o Ability to read technical drawings and process documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
