Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain and administer the BlackLine platform (users, roles, permissions, security).
Support system updates, upgrades, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Ensure data integrity, monitor interfaces/imports, and manage master data setup.
Perform routine system tasks (period/calendar maintenance, reporting, reconciliation monitoring).
Coordinate with IT, security provisioning teams, and external consultants.
Provide user support, training, documentation, and resolve user issues.
Guide regions on system access, structure, and local administration.
Test new/existing BlackLine functionalities.
Execute strategic projects to align BlackLine with business processes.
Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and process improvement.
Collaborate with finance/IT on integrations and enhancements.
Standardize BlackLine usage globally across regions.
Participate in module implementations and ERP-related projects.
Develop and drive improvement strategies for efficiency and user satisfaction.
Create and analyze reports/dashboards; identify performance trends.
Support internal/external/SOX audits.

Preferred candidate profile

Accounting background
Hands on experience into Blackline system admin not just into blackline reconciliations
