Black Belt Project Manager

The Healthcare Six Sigma Consultant will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional clinical and operational teams to enhance process optimization and operational excellence within healthcare functions. Utilizing strong Six Sigma expertise and analytical abilities, you will be responsible for leading and supporting Six Sigma/Lean improvement projects across various healthcare operational areas such as clinical workflows, utilization management, revenue cycle, care coordination, and quality. Your role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying waste and variation, and implementing measurable improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient/provider satisfaction. You will conduct data analysis, root cause investigations using DMAIC methodology, and process mapping to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating impactful leadership presentations and delivering findings to senior executives. Training and mentoring teams on continuous improvement techniques to foster a culture of operational excellence will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be expected to track, report, and communicate project progress, benefits realization, and key performance indicators through dashboards and executive updates. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the sustainability of solutions and successful change management will also be a critical part of your role. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and demonstrate experience in using data to inform decision-making processes. Proficiency in process mapping and metric design, including CTQ, KPIs, and control plans, is essential. Excellent PowerPoint skills are required to develop compelling leadership storylines. You should have an executive presence with effective stakeholder management abilities. Attention to detail, along with strong project management and influencing skills, will be necessary for success in this role. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, particularly those holding Green or Black Belt certifications.,
