Birst Reporting Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse-Centric BI Reporting

• Design and deliver

  Birst dashboards and KPIs

  around warehouse operations: Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, ASN, GRN, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns.
• Develop performance reports (e.g., SLA adherence, order fill rate, space utilization, labor productivity, stock accuracy).

• Data Integration & Modeling

• Work with

  Infor WMS datasets

  and integrate with ERP (D365, SAP, Infor ERP LN/M3) where required.
• Build

  data models and fact/dimension structures

  aligned to warehouse processes.
• Ensure ETL/ELT pipelines deliver consistent and validated data into Birst.

• Business Partnering

• Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to capture reporting needs.
• Translate business KPIs into technical solutions using Birst.
• Conduct workshops and train business users on self-service BI capabilities.

• System Administration & Governance

• Manage

  Birst spaces, security roles, and data governance

  .
• Monitor data loads, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.

• Continuous Improvement

• Enhance reporting efficiency by automating manual reporting processes.
• Recommend new KPIs and dashboards to improve warehouse visibility and control.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical

• 5+ years of total experience in BI & Reporting, with

  23 years in Infor Birst

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  Infor WMS 11+ (preferably Cloud)

  .
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience integrating WMS data with ERP systems (Infor, D365, SAP).

• Domain Knowledge

• Deep understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, cycle counting, returns).
• Experience delivering

  KPI-driven warehouse dashboards

  (e.g., putaway time, dock-to-stock, order lead time, accuracy metrics).

• Professional Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to work with both IT and warehouse stakeholders.
• Ability to Independently own and deliver BI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Infor certification (WMS or Birst) preferred.
• Exposure to retail, logistics, or e-commerce domains will be a strong plus.
